Although you may know that paying attention is one of the key points whenever you are driving in the snow, I can tell you that also making sure that you limit your distractions is another thing. Let’s say that you are on your cell phone, while listening to the radio – that can be extremely distracting.
By turning off both your cell phone and the radio, you can eliminate your distractions to ensure that you not only drive better but that you are safer. Most of the time, while you are doing these two things, you are distracted but can manage. Snow driving is unpredictable.
The most important thing that you need to remember is that whenever you are driving in the snow – just be careful.

Your address can have an affect on your car insurance premiums. If you live in a neighborhood that does not have a lot of traffic, your insurance company will consider you low risk in terms of your likeliness to be in an accident. That makes for a lower premium. Of course, high traffic neighborhoods or those which have a high theft rate make for higher premiums.
Any driving violations or traffic tickets can drive your premiums up quite a bit.
The kind of vehicle you drive can safe — or cost — you money as well. A cheaper vehicle costs less to insure, so your premiums will be less expensive.
If you have been in a lot of accidents and filed claims for them, you may have to pay higher premiums as well — car insurance companies look at things like that.
Finally, your credit score makes a huge difference as well. The worse your score, the higher your premiums.
